“The MAPS youth program led by Ahsen has provided a safe space for my son to grow and learn about Islam but also create strong brotherhood bonds with friends. He looks forward to the events and looks up to Ahsen. As a parent it can be overwhelming raising Muslim children in a non-Muslim country and an environment where they are constantly battling issues. This program provides a much needed balance to what the youth see/hear in school and the broader society. The youth program developed by Brother Ahsen is MashAllah outstanding in every aspect. This youth group model has a comprehensive approach to empowering strong Muslim youth. The program allows for personal growth, spiritual development, community service and fostering healthy friendships. This year our youth reflected on the life our Prophet (Pbuh) on many occasions. They proudly participated in a Seerah conference where they showcased a variety of hidden talents and benefited the broader community. You know a program is successful when you witness firsthand the eagerness to attend and participate in the social, service and spiritual events. Brother Ahsen has indeed designed a program that is extremely well organized, relevant and impactful. A program like this is essential in every Muslim community across the US especially post Covid isolation.
